The Kingsford Run set to release EP

Simi Valley outfit, The Kingsford Run has recently finished up recording their new EP at The Earth Capital in Los Angeles. The EP, entitled "Human Traffic" will contain 8 tracks and be released on CD by Ignite Records on April 20th.

The EP will also be released through Radical Friends on 7-inch. (Full Story).




Exclaim! Compiles Metal's Top Ten Speeding Ticket Songs

Our friends at Canada's Exclaim! Magazine have recently compiled a list of what they consider "Metal's Top Ten Speeding Ticket Songs". The unscientific study claims songs from Dayglo Abortions, Megadeth, Slayer and others as the songs most likely to get one's adrenaline pumping fast enough to ignore speed limits.

Jared Grabb of Scouts Honor posts two new songs from upcoming album

Jared Grabb, the singer/songwriter behind Scouts Honor, has just posted two more new songs from his upcoming album. This will be his first album since the break-up of Scouts Honor. The album is titled Where Do You Hide Your Love Songs? and was released on LP through Thinker Thought Records this week. Grabb will also be self-releasing the album on a CD to be given away free at shows. Thinker Thought Records will be digitally distributing the album as well.
You can find the two new songs, "True Blue" (featuring Austin's own Erin Ivey) and "Durango," on Jared Grabb's MySpace along with the earlier posted "Stuart Nelson." (Full Story).
